Oberblegisee Hike

The bubble lift brings families up to Gortzdenbüel where the hike starts with a gently sloping path and a breathtaking view to the Unterstafel of Alp Braunwald. Later the path leads through lush meadows and dense forests to Bösbächi Valley, where 70 cows produce yummy milk for the aromatic alp cheese. At Bächibeizli restaurant, families enjoy a snack or meal before they continue their hike to lake Oberblegi.

Once arrived at the mythical, deep-blue mountain lake, it’s time to enjoy the atmosphere, have a swim in the ice-cold water or a picnic at the natural fireplace. On their way back to the mountain station of Brunnen Mountain Railway, families hike past the Mittelstafel of Alp Oberblegi and take in the beautiful Alpine flora.
