At Zurich’s North America Native Museum, families can explore the rich cultural diversity of the Indigenous peoples of North America — from First Nations, Inuit and Native Americans to Native Alaskans. The exhibition features artfully crafted objects, everyday items and contemporary works that bring the many lived realities between tradition and the present to life.
A standout highlight is the “Sounding Museum,” an immersive sound space where visitors can experience contemporary Indigenous life through audio. The Swiss UNESCO Commission has recognized this installation as an official contribution to the International Year for the Rapprochement of Cultures.
