Mühlerama Museum
The Mühlerama unites an industrial mill and a museum for eating culture with its own baking school.
- Main focus is on eating and enjoying food
- Grind your own flour or bake your own bread
- 100-year-old industrial mill
- Suitable for children from the age of 6
The Mühlerama Museum, situated near the banks of Lake Zurich, is well worth a visit for families with children and teenagers, as well as for school classes.
Topics such as eating, culinary enjoyment and food production are examined in an entertaining, fascinating and informative way. In addition, the over 100-year-old industrial mill tells the history of flour production in Zurich.
But visitors both big and small do not remain inactive: during their visit, they can grind their own flour or, under expert supervision, bake their own delicious bread. Puzzle fans can also unravel the secret surrounding a mysterious story in the Tiefenbrunnen Mill or listen to the “Talking House”.
