The Kunst(Zeug)Haus in Rapperswil-Jona has been home to the extensive collection of the Bosshard couple since 2006. Between 1971 and 2018, the two art lovers tracked down newcomers to the Swiss art scene and followed the work of established artists.
For children, the foundation organizes various activities that are great fun and encourage creativity. With colored pencils and puzzle sheets, young museum visitors can explore the current exhibitions individually. Colorful mice throughout the museum point to children’s stations. Whenever there is an opening for the «grown-ups», the little ones discover the exhibition accompanied by an cultural mediator. After exploring the exposed works, the young art lovers can create their pieces in the studio – obviously followed by their own preview with sirup bar and snacks.
