Throwing and lifting stones to test your strength, running up a flight of stairs and balancing on a slackline – in Rothenthurm, outdoor-loving kids compete at various interactive stations. The entertaining adventure trail starts at Rothenthurm station and leads through flowering meadows and lush forest up the Morgartenberg. En route, not only breathtaking views await. There are also plenty of opportunities for a break and a snack, starting with an outdoor barbecue area with covered seating at Gärtenboden (Post 2).

Later, the hike takes you past “Beaver Creek Ranch” with its fun playground and inviting sun deck. Or you can pick up a “power pack” for CHF 10 at the Kronenmetzg butcher’s shop and enjoy it as a picnic along the way.
