Joke Trail Muotathal

Jokes and hiking are a good combination, because walking is easier with fun and games. That’s why hikers of all ages will find 25 boards with Muotathal jokes scattered along the way on the family-friendly joke trail. However, it is not only the laughing muscles that are exercised, but also the thinking apparatus: each joke station also features an exciting animal riddle for children.

The trail leads from the bus stop of the Schwyz – Stoos funicular (the steepest funicular in the world) along the Muota river to the village Muotathal in about 1¾ hours. Picnic spots with plenty of shade, as well as a barbecue area halfway down the trail, provide ample opportunity to unpack your backpack, snack on whatever you’ve brought along and tell each other the jokes again.
