Fixed-Rope Route for Children

Early practice makes the master: On the fixed-rope route in Braunwald kids approx. 7 years and older can gain their first experiences on the mountain. Requirements here are: no vertigo and the right climbing gear (harness). The approximately 200-m-long route is located at 1,901 meters above sea level and has been built in a way that it is entirely visible from the terrace of Gumen Mountain Inn. It’s also where families can rent their climbing gear and enjoy a well-deserved meal after an active day on the mountain.

For those who are already a bit more experienced, there are various exciting routes in the alpine climbing garden. Young climbers in company of adults can try the route from Gumengrat to Leiteregg to Hinteren Eggstock.
