Braunwald Story Walk

Braunwald is a place rich in stories: The “Märchenhotel” (fairy tale hotel) enchants children and adults, and many a family has already met the fairy-tale character Dwarf Bartli on a hike. Yet, there are many more fairy tales and legends just waiting in the stories and memories of the people of Glarus. Some of these have now been made accessible through the Braunwald Story Walk.

The stories were collected and selected by students of the Zurich University of the Arts together with children from the Braunwald elementary school. Anyone who wants to go on the audio walk and immerse themselves in the Glarus stories can do so via QR code on their own smartphone or via mp3 player. These latter are available to borrow at places such as Bsinti, tourist information office, kiosk, Märchenhotel, Hotel Cristal and Hotel Tödiblick.
