Night Sledding With Children

When evening falls, night owls set off for fast-paced sled runs through the softly lit Kinderregion.

When night settles over the Swiss mountains, the Kinderregion is just getting started. On select evenings, the slopes open for nighttime sledding, with headlamps, lanterns or floodlights guiding the way as night owls speed down groomed pistes or natural trails. Many families can’t resist another run and hop back on the lift or gondola to do it all again.

For a more relaxed finish, an evening on the sledding hill pairs perfectly with a stop at a mountain restaurant, where cheese fondue or raclette brings a warm, comforting end to the night.
