When the lights are out, the world around us changes and the places we know so well turn into new experiences. Sometimes it even gets a bit scary so that we have to gather all our courage. But what we experience in these moments is unforgettable.

In the Children’s Region, there are lots of fun things to do in the dark. On flashlight tours, kids discover museums and exhibitions from a totally new perspective. They enter long-gone worlds, learn how cities were watched after sundown, observe zoo animals once the visitors are gone and sleep with the dinosaurs. They eat in the dark, discover coal mines, caves and much more – here’s a list of things families can do in the dark.
